Did you know that over 40% of humans are afraid of spiders and over 50% are afraid of sharks? But I think it’s safe to say that those numbers are a little overblown. Spiders on average only kill 7 people a year in the United States alone, sharks on the other hand average about 70 attacks a year, STILL with only 5-6 of them resulting in someone's death. 3. Snakes
At number three, snakes are the third most dangerous animals to humans. Killing 81,000 to 138,000 each year from their bites. Besides the killing spree three times as many amputations and permanent disabilities are caused per year. Still more scared of sharks?
2. Humans
At number two, humans are the second most dangerous species TO HUMANS! Homicides account for an estimated 431,000 human deaths a year, making humans the deadliest mammals by far. Isn't that interesting, humans kill more humans than spiders do!
1. Mosquitoes
Last but not least, at number one… THE MOST DANGEROUS ANIMAL TO HUMANS IS ….. It's mosquitoes. MOSQUITOES! These terrifyingly tiny vampires kill upwards of 1 MILLION humans every year. It’s like a hobby for them. These killers are everywhere you go, yet instead people chose to be terrified of sharks and spiders!?
