Washington High School football team being interviewed by 41 Action News on Monday september 9th, 2019 as Wildcat players Tywan Muturi and Thomas Anderson receive the Hyvee Player of the Week award. The players were noticed after they put on a show in their first game against Atchison. “Every single position is important from the coach to the team, to the managers. It takes a team to win.” Said Coach Smith the head coach of the Wildcats pictured  on the far right front row.
